Does neurosurgery hurt?
Thanks to the considerable progress in neurosurgery possible complications for patients have been reduced noticeably. We treat our patients with minimally invasive surgery, the so-called “key-hole surgery”. In most cases local anesthetics are sufficient. Should general anesthetics be necessary, an anesthetist will be present as a matter of course. But we recommend surgery only in cases where conservative ways of treatment have not shown satisfactory results.
