Which areas of work are there in neurosurgery?
The diagnosis and therapy of diseases of the brain, the spine and the peripheral nervous system are the areas of work of neurosurgery. In many cases, though, we can avoid surgery. Should surgery prove to be necessary, we do it either on an out-patient basis directly in our day hospital or for in-patients in hospitals in Uelzen and Hanover. Part of our neurosurgical treatment package is the organization of the rehabilitation after the surgery has taken place.
