Tumors
Tumors can also be found at the spine, too. They lead to narrowing of the spinal canal and endanger stability. In most cases though they are benign, which means without metastases to other parts of the body. In case of cancer in other organs of the body, there can be metastases to the spine, which leads to pain, restrictions of perception and paralysis. A multidisciplinary treatment is required.
